Today is Five Minute Fridays so lets link up and write
So I write for Five minute, no edits, no re dos and at the end I will see if there are pictures from my week Instagram feed that match the words of this week.
Topic: Long
I want to hold this time, stop it the hands from moving.
At this age of independence and cuddling.
May these days become longer so that I may enjoy them for just a bit more.
I know in truth my days are shortening.
Soon she will not want me coming to school for lunch.
Soon her friends will not find it cool to jump in selfies with her Mom.
This is her last year of elementary school and I am trying to spend as much as I can with her.
Because I know as these years continue I will be longing for days like these.

I am still in the little years with a five year old, three year old, and two year old, and your post is such a good reminder to me. I need to cherish these days while my children still want me to climb in their lap and read stories to them. Time does move so quickly. Thank you for sharing this.
