Compassion International has a group of sponsors/advocates/bloggers (yes they hold all three titles) just returned from a trip to the Phillipines.
They come from all areas with different thoughts and hearts but they all go for one reason. To see what God has called them to be apart of. View for themselves the poverty that they have tried to help with. Some of you may ask where that $38 a month goes? What does it do? How can I be impactfully?

We have been involved with Compassion for a bit now and have recently become advocates. Being an Advocate really just means you take a pledge to talk about Compassion and poverty and how the love of God can change it. You can read about our journey here.
