This will be good, you will see

Today is Five Minute Fridays so lets link up and write
So I write for Five minute, no edits, no re dos and at the end I will see if there are pictures from my week Instagram feed that match the words of this week.
Topic: Ready

The prompt today is ready. Oh sometimes the words that are chosen seemed picked just for me.
Ready, am I Ready.
My head wants to scream NO!!
I am not ready for her to grow up.
I am not ready for teen drama to come to my house.
I am not ready for relationships to change.

But my heart says you are READY for this.
This will be good, you will see.

My head wants to scream NO!!
I am not ready for my heart to be broke open.
I am not ready for Him to call me to new ministries.
I am not ready for  a deeper relationship with God.

But my heart says you are READY for this.
This will be good, you will see.

My head wants to scream NO.
I am not ready to completely forgive.
I am not ready for selflessness.
I am not ready to put us first at all costs.

But my heart says you are READY for this.
This will be good, you will see.

"He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD."

  1. I could so relate to your "not ready's"- but praise God that He goes before us and prepares the way... and readies us. Thanks for your honest words here. They encouraged me. Happy Friday!

  2. In our humanness we are never really ready...but He helps us become ready as we trust Him and He brings us to a new place. And you are right, as we take those steps and follow Him, He makes it better and we see it is good!

    Thanks for sharing!
