Topic: Grateful
It's been raining here for days it seems. Part of me wants to whine for being stuck inside even longer, after this forever winter.
But I am grateful for the rain.
The rain that brings new life, watching green show up in the landscape.
It brings large puddles, perfect for new wellies.
Thundering nights bring cuddles on the couch with favorite shows turned up loud.
Bright lightening reminds me to be in wonder with all of creation.
I choose to be grateful for the rain.
I remind myself to be grateful in the life when it rains hard and my spirit wants to crumble.
Because I know, I've been there, that rain brings about new life.
