Another year of Awana finishes up

Congrats to Mouse in finishing out another year of Awana and learning all those verses!   This year was different then previous years in that we had Mouse work her Awana book on her own, in truth it was usually on the drive to class, but she did well in verse memorization.

The small group that Cassi and I led this year has finished up too.  There were different clumps of learning and a few people filtered in and out of our class.  We did a few video classes from Andy Stanley which we would like to continue next year.  We also went through the book Radical by David Platt.  That class was tough because it made you think deeply about where your church is and where it is going.  One also looks deeper at their own faith while reading the book.

Everything starts back up next September.  Until then there are vacations, camping, golf and I'm sure about 500 water balloons filled up during the summer!
