It's official! After many hours of work I finally did it. I have opened a shop for my hymnal art. I am so excited and scared. It is hard putting your art and thus your heart out there for others to view.
This all started with Illustrated Faith. I started doing art within my Bible. Then it slowly moved to hymnal pages.
With so many churches going to projected words instead of hand held hymnals there is a plenty of churches looking to get rid of theirs. I collected a ton for the Illustrated Faith Workshop I am hosting with Shanna in Minnesota. To give an intro to the workshop I taught a class at Red Rock Bible Camp using some of the hymnals. It was so enjoyable that I started collecting more hymnals. Then doing more art with those pages.
I started posting the art on my instagram site. I received such great feedback and orders from family and friends that a shop was born.
I am truly hoping this shop will be a blessing to others.
I want it to be what is written on Etsy, a place where art and grace meet.
Art that people can hang in their homes that shows all who enter where their faith. A quiet testament to God's story.
