Autumn Liqueur

One of the things I love about fall is the smell of cinnamon that seems to be every where this time of year. It could be because we light smelly candles and plug in air fresheners but I like to think that fall just smells that way.
I also like to start having hot apple cider instead of tea. And this will blend so nicely with those hot ciders.
We are also staying on our homemade infused liqueurs. This time we wanted to do one that would scream fall nights. This brandy / vodka mix does just that.
Ingredients
1/3 brandy
2/3 vodka
2 to 3 apples
3 to 4 cinnamon sticks
I added the sliced apples then the cinnamon sticks to a sealable jar then topped with the brandy and vodka. Seal and store in a cool dark place for 30 days.
Which will make this ready right in time for Halloween. I can't wait to try it mixed with warm cider.
Yes, I know I spelled liqueur wrong on this and wow my stove is dirty. Anything to keep it real for you guys, right?
